David Sangree and Anthony DiPonio attended the World Waterpark Association conference in Las Vegas in October. As usual, the conference was well attended and had a great trade show with a wide range of exhibitors offering various products related to water parks.

One of the more memorable educational sessions was concerning the addition of waterparks to Royal Caribbean Icon at the Seas cruise ship as well as their private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay. Representatives of Royal Caribbean and Martin Aquatics described their methodology for selecting waterpark elements and the popularity of the waterpark for vacationers.
