Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the annual International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) conference in New Orleans. ISHC is a global network of hospitality experts representing all facets of the industry, from development and operations to finance, appraisal, asset management, litigation, and design. Membership is by invitation only, and the organization is dedicated to advancing the hospitality profession through the exchange of knowledge, collaboration, and innovation.
This conference is always a highlight for me, bringing together many of the industry’s most respected professionals and thought leaders to exchange ideas, reconnect, and look ahead to the future of hospitality.
Beyond the formal sessions, the conference offered invaluable opportunities to catch up with peers, share perspectives, and be inspired by the work and expertise of other hospitality experts. The conference title was The Rhythm of Resilience, and it included sessions about hotel performance, social procurement for hotels, talent issues, AI, casinos, beverage trends, sustainability in hotel development, FF&E for hotels, trends in New Orleans, and others.
Many thanks to the ISHC team and my fellow members for another memorable and meaningful event. I appreciate the continued collaboration that makes this community so impacful.
