Mr. Eric B. Hansen, AIA, ISHC attended the three-day Ohio Conference on Tourism, held in Springfield, Ohio last week. As an officer of the Board of Directors, and Co-chairman of the Legislative Committee for the Ohio Travel Association (OTA), Mr. Hansen delivered the annual PAC speech during the Ohio Tourism Leadership Dinner on Wednesday evening, with an emphasis on the industry advocacy role the OTA engages in on a daily basis. In addition to numerous break-out sessions, tourism education opportunities, and professional networking events, the annual meeting of the OTA was held during the conference. Mr. Hansen was duly elected to assume the responsibilities as President-Elect of the OTA for the coming year. The Ohio Conference on Tourism is Ohio’s signature event for learning about the $38 billion tourism industry in the State. Mr. Hansen will be attending an OTA planning session at the board retreat in November.
