David J. Sangree, MAI, CPA, ISHC attended the 2021 IAAPA Expo in Orlando. David conducted a session on the effects of COVID 19 on the waterpark industry in 2020 and growth projections for 2021 and beyond. Some key takeaways from the session include:

• Confidence is high that attendance will return to pre-COVID-19 levels by 2023.
• Although attendance has been slow to come back., rates have significantly improved across the industry.
• While we expect admission price growth rates to moderate or stabilize, we do not anticipate a decline or correction
