Furthering education in the hospitality industry has been a goal of H&LA and its founder, David Sangree, for many years. In service of that goal, David sits on the School of Hospitality Business Real Estate Advisory Board at Michigan State University. Though not an alumnus of MSU, David recognizes the excellent education and unique opportunities that the university provides and has hired multiple alumni as consultants for our firm. David and his wife Laura recently contributed to the MSU hospitality business school and were greatly honored to have the School of Hospitality Business Real Estate Director’s office named after them. Their gift will enable students to travel to real estate-related conferences and competitions and may also be directed to relevant faculty endeavors including travel and research. The support of these students and faculty at MSU will strengthen hospitality education and improve the hospitality real estate minor. H&LA is proud to support MSU and all its hard-working students and faculty!
