H&LA’s Director of Development Services, Eric Hansen was selected to join the board of directors for the newly formed VisitCanton (Stark County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau), which on January 1, 2016 will become an independent agency after 35 years of operation in conjunction with the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce. The 15-member board of directors includes representation from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Akron-Canton Airport, local hoteliers, as well as other tourism-related industries. Mr. Hansen was asked to serve for his hospitality consulting expertise as well as his tenure with the Ohio Travel Association, of which he is currently president for the 2015/2016 year.
